Delete Your Asterhaven Account

You can delete your character and everything attached to it yourself, from inside the game, without asking anyone. It takes about ten seconds.
Doing it yourself
- Open Asterhaven — in the app, or use the Asterhaven desktop client in a browser.
- Sign in as the character you want to delete.
- Open the menu, choose HELP & SETTINGS, then ⚠ DELETE MY CHARACTER.
- Confirm on the page that follows. Nothing happens until you do.
If you would rather type it, delete shows the same warning and tells
you exactly what to type back — delete confirm YourCharacterName.
The character is destroyed the moment you confirm, and you are signed out.
What is deleted
- The character file itself — name, password hash, level, class and all progress.
- Every belonging: inventory, equipment, gold, bank balance and locker.
- Quests, achievements, secrets found and bosses defeated.
- Any house deed you hold, which is released, along with anything placed in it, and any shop or vendor you were running.
- The town watch character's memory of your name.
A deleted character cannot sign in again, and does not come back when the server restarts. This is checked by an automated test on every change to the game.
What remains, briefly
- Diagnostic logs may still contain the character name and the commands it used. These are kept for debugging, are not linked to any identity, and are not used to rebuild a deleted character.
- Web server access logs, which contain IP addresses, rotate on the server's ordinary schedule.
- Anything you said aloud near the town watch is stored without a speaker attached and is discarded within 24 hours.
If you want the diagnostic entries purged as well, ask using the address below and say so.
If you cannot sign in
Because the game holds no email address, we cannot reset a password. If you have lost access and still want the character removed, email developer@asterhavengame.com from any address, with the character name in the subject line.
